1. What RYDU is

RYDU is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers of cabs, autos and bikes in Indore, for rides, hourly rentals and parcel delivery. Drivers are not employees of RYDU.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older and sign in with a phone number you own.
• Keep your phone and sign-in codes to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Give correct details. We may suspend accounts that give false information, misuse the service or break these terms.

3. Booking and fares

• The app shows the fare before you book. That's what you pay, unless the trip changes after booking, for example a new drop-off, added stops, waiting, or extra rental time.
• Fares can be higher at night or when many people are booking at once. The app always shows the fare before you confirm.
• Promo codes and RYDU credit follow the conditions shown with them. They have no cash value.

4. Payment

• Pay in cash to the driver, or online by UPI through our payment partner, Cashfree Payments.
• Fares and any cancellation fees you owe must be paid. Unpaid amounts are added to your next ride.
• Cancellations and refunds follow our cancellation & refund policy.

5. Riders agree to

• be at the pickup point on time and share the pickup code only with your driver,
• treat drivers with respect and not damage the vehicle, and
• not send prohibited items as parcels (see the service delivery policy).

6. Drivers agree to

• hold a valid driving licence, registration certificate, insurance and any permits the law requires, and keep them up to date in the app,
• keep the vehicle safe and roadworthy, follow traffic law, and never drive under the influence,
• start a trip only after the rider gives the correct pickup code, and
• charge only the fare shown in the app.

Drivers receive the fare minus RYDU's commission and taxes, paid to their UPI ID.

7. Safety

Use SOS in the app or call 112 in an emergency. We may share trip details with the police when someone's safety is at risk.

8. Liability

We work to keep RYDU available and safe, but we can't promise the service will always be available or that a driver will always be found. As far as the law allows, RYDU is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for a ride is limited to the fare paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top. You can stop using RYDU and delete your account at any time.

11. Law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of India. Courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, have jurisdiction. Please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly.
