Delete your RYDU account

Ask us to delete it

1. Email jayesh.work011@gmail.com with the subject Delete my RYDU account.
2. Send it from anywhere, but include the phone number you sign in with, and say whether it's a rider or driver account.
3. We may call or message that number once to confirm it's you.
4. We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What we delete

• Your name, gender, chosen character and language
• Saved places, emergency contacts and the people you booked rides for
• Chat messages and push notification tokens
• For drivers: document photos, licence and vehicle details, and your UPI ID

What we keep, and for how long

• Ride and payment records (date, route, fare, how it was paid), because Indian tax and accounting law requires them. We keep them for up to 8 years, separated from your name, and then delete them.
• Records of a safety complaint or a dispute that is still open, until it is closed.

Before you delete

Any unpaid fare or cancellation fee must be settled first. RYDU credit is lost when the account is deleted. Drivers should withdraw any earnings due before asking.
